need electrical help please!!
ok so i replaced the engine with another one with 6300 miles so everything came up good and went for a test drive, lot of power etc etc ad then after 3 starts the battery died, so i thought maybe the stator was bad on the new engine cuz the regulator was a month old. so went down to my garage and replaced the stator with one of those heavy duty electro something website. went for a ride being sure that that was the problem and the ride lasted for 1 hour and 30 minutes before the battery died again.
no blown fuses, no short circuits, the battery just died. so the stator is brand new, the regulator one month old then why the hell the battery is not being charged. so i assumed that the battery is not getting full voltage to charge cuz last ride lasted more than the first one after replacing the stator. any help will be appreciated. im about to tow the bike to the junk yard.

RE: need electrical help please!!
ok so results are in and the loser is ........... the regulator.
but heres the thing, as far as i know the r/r transforms dc to ac to charge the batt right? sooo i put everything together and took a read on the battery and it was 12.04 the bike started just right, went for a quick ride(bout 10 blocks and back) trying to hit 5000rpm as much as possible so the battery could be charged right? so back at my house the reading was 13.24 so it is charging. went for a second lap (same distance) but this time trying not to hit 5000 rpm (slowly ride) back at my house the reading was 12.94 so it lost .30 volts. what the hell im confused isnt the battery (1 month old, properly charged by the dealer) supposed to hold last charge? like staying on 13.24. im totally confused. any thoughts.
