Can you be a little more detailed?

What do you mean it didnt start right away? did itt spit and sputter, did you have to crank it for a minute?

what does two tries mean? just tapping the starter or again cranking it. when it did start did it start hard and idle rough or purr like a kitten.

ive been riding for about an hour stoped to talk to a guy with another cbr at a gas station the bike temp was at 104 degrees when i turned it off. when i tried to start it i held the starter down for a few seconds but couldnt get it to turn over, there was no loss of power or anything every thing sounded normal just wouldt crank so i tried again for a few seconds and then it finaly cranked. she ran fine after that ive been going out every hour and trying to crank it and shes starting normal now almost right away but i want to try to get it fixed case this happens again kinda worried you know the bikes still new!

since you've been starting it up without riding it a lot lately I would recommend sticking it on a trickle charger for a night just to top off.

Do you mean nothing happens when you hit the start button? <--Battery

Or it turns over but doesn't start?

For future reference, turning over and cranking are the same.

I used to have a VW with the same symptom. Turned out there was moisture in the fuel. The high heat of the engine (after shut-down) caused the moisture to displace the fuel, creating a "gap" in the fuel supply. It was not happy, and would not start until it got the amount of fuel it wanted! Try some fuel system conditioner for the next couple tanks-full of fuel.
