Multiple Questions
So i have many questions, new to riding (around 500 miles), please bear with me. I own a 2006 CBR600 F4i btw.
-Anyway I could get a list of things to do to preserve my bike? (like a time frame with what it is, no need for to much detail just something i can start looking into)
-Would it be in my interest to buy a service manual? (rhetorical i assume)
-Can anyone estimate the price of a new paint job?
I could think of more, but just got off work so my brains kinda blehhh. If anyone could please help out i'de appreciate it.

1st if you have not done so take a MSF course.
2nd Keep the bike clean and ride it nothing brings any vehicle down than sitting unused.
3rd Yes buy a manual and read it from cover to cover I have a few shelfs of manuals from cars to bikes and have read all of them like to collect to LOL
4th and final the paint depends but I would say anywhere from 700 to 3000 or more depending on what you want and those figures are just that estimates.

Check your service manual but depending on what you run Dino oil or Synthetic
Dino 4000 miles Synthetic 5 to 7000 mile between changes
If you have a chance read Twist of the Wrist 1 or 2 both if you can great info there for the street or track treat all cages like the enemy they are out to get you LOL

robo pretty much nailed it.
but with paint, it just depends what you want and how good you want it. i painted my F3 myself for around $250, but i already had a spray gun laying around. its by no means perfect, but the bikes meant to be ridden, not hauled to bike shows. so thats really up to you and how much you want to spend.

The service intervals are in the owners manual. Use them as guidelines as to when to do things. Since you just got the bike, change all the fluids, lube and adjust things, and inspect every inch well. That way you have a starting point and know that things we serviced.
Get, or download, the factory service manual if you plan on doing your own work. It's very helpful for more advanced repairs. You aren't too far from me...I can give you a hand if need be

Got the twist of the wrist videos, gonna watch those. I definitely want to learn more about my bike and kinda do things myself. (but not by myself lmao)
thanks again for all the feedback
