Default Motorcycle Stands

When buying motorcycle stands, will it be specific to my model? Or is it a one size fits all setup?

For the front I think they're mostly universal, but I'm not 100%. (by universal I mean that they're adjustable for certain widths)

For the rear it basically boils down to whether you have spools or not.

With spools you basically use a stand with a type of hook setup and without spools its a set of pads that the swingarm rests on.

Most stands in the rear are also universal and just need further specification when ordering as to whether you have spools or not.

measure your swing arm outside to outside at the widest point. nearest to the axle, there will be on most brands/styles a min. width and a max. width, on adjustable ones. if your size falls in between you should be good. make sure to adjust and measure before you just prop it up make sure it will be stable.

i got a decent one for 40$ at harbor freight.

works for what i need it for though i am going to be painting it seeing how it comes black

hope this helps
good luck

PitBull! Ever see a bike fall off stands when they've bent or collapsed?? I have...never again though.

If the front stand is a triple-tree support style (which you need to take the forks off), the stand is generic, but requires a specific "pin" for each bike.
