Default more r/r help

so after my stock R/R melted I bought a Suzuki one wired it in and it worked for about 1-2 days now its melted again.. think that's its a airflow because the fairings are not stock and block - restrict the airflow problem more then a wiring and I am going to try and relocate it to the front of the bike and was wondering if I needed a grounding plate - screws for it to work correctly

Have you checked the connector between the main harness and stator? These have a tendency to burn up when the r/r goes out. It can also cause an r/r to go out.
