Default More Horsepower

Newbie here..Got a question of course?? I just had an arata slip-on and power commander installed yesterday to my 04 600rr, and I was trying to firgure out what the average gain in horsepower I should have gotten... the shop I took it to this was the specs
Stock H/P 104.2 TQ 43.9
Pipe/commander H/P 110.1 TQ45.7

I was hoping to gain at least 10 horsepower but only got about 6 was wondering if this is correct or try to have some other shop dyno??

It's not always about the MOST hp but where you get the hp in the rev range. 6 sounds right and most likely you'll get a nice flat torque curve along with it.

I don't know about that. I was told by the best dyno person in my area that a slip-on should gain you at least 5hp, plus whatever comes form the pc, which should be more than 1. The best thing to do if you're not satisfied is to take the dyno chart to another dyno specialist and ask them if it's the best that can be done. Just an idea, though.

The magazines all say that the day of double digit gains in horsepower are over.
I'd have guessed 3-5 hp with those changes but you did better. Hey, you got
about 5% which is great without getting inside the engine. Be happy if your
numbers are really true.
