Cool Mirror Question!

So I recently purchased a used bike from a friend of mine. The mirrors were not attached to the bike and I just started riding it as is. However I feel a little uncomfortable without them now that I am begging to ride in heavier traffic. I got the mirrors from him but he couldn't find any screws to go with.....How do i put these bad boys on, should I go to a parts store and order the stock screws or can I go to a hardware store and just get some that will fit?

Heres some pics to help make it easier to understand what I'm looking at.

Thanks.

You need - BOLT, SOCKET (6X14)

You can see them online (in schematics) on bikebandit.com, ronayers, servicehonda, etc.

You don't need to buy anything special from Honda, anything of the correct size will be fine.

IIRC it is an M6 x 14mm socket cap bolt. Mine are currently held on using M6 x 16 button head allen bolts.

You may as well replace with stainless whilst you are at it.

I ended up doing this to mine as the stock mirrors are absolute ****:

You can get them at any hardware store. Make sure you get stainless steel....and not Zinc or plain.

If what Gotcbr say is correct, 6 X 14....metric, you'll be looking for 6M X 14MM socket cap screw/bolt. but does screw go all the thru and you need a nut to secure from inside.

Looking at 3rd pic, looks like the bolts are all that are needed (at least on the L side).
The R side has those temps screws that the PO installed...so should be good to go w/ just bolts on that side as well.

Yeah there was screws that were keeping those caps on, but when I try to put the mirrors on they fit but are just not long enough......So basically, I just need longer screws, and 6x14 would be the proper size?
