Default Matching VIN's? Can anyone run carfax?

I bought a used 2002 F4i and the model/vin sticker has been removed from the frame. I was told the bike had a clean title, but how can that be if it used to be 2 bikes? I am still waiting for the plate/reg./title in the mail. Does anyone have a carfax account that they can run my VIN through? Or tell me how i can find stamped numbers to compare. I have been told the place i bought it from tends to mix and match their bikes... any help is greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,
Mike

Took a look at my bike and i located the VIN stamp and the motor # stamp. Is there a way to find out if these numbers go together?

Maybe i'm being paranoid, but why else would that model sticker be missing...
