Default LSL "Crash Pad" frame sliders

Anyone one have them? If so how do you like? I am going to order some frame sliders in a few days and I am leaning toward the LSL's. If anyone has installed them have you leaned the bike over and checked the amount of clearence or protection they provide?

I think the bolts are a little close to the surface for my taste. they look like they would get ground down enough in a realistic dismount to make removal/replacement very difficult.

i agree. i also think that they look too short to provide the protection that you're looking for.

the crash pad will hide the mistakes a lot of people make mounting them... but it does look more like for show instead of protection.

My friend has some on his 05 R1 and he had a lowside at Thunderhill raceway, they did a decent job of protecting most of the bodywork in the area, his bike has a few scuffs but he fell off at 70 mph!! I just ordered him a replacement set of "pucks" and a new bolt that was damaged during the mishap
