Default Lost Key...& where to get shifter linkage?

So I got a bike for £50 bad condition came with no log book or keys ! (not stolen done a HID check or what ever you call it completely clean) So I also applied for a log book so it will be in my name.

It came with no keys I was told to take the ignition barrel out so I did and boy is there allot hanging of the bike now lol.

I got the barrel off (where you put the key into) and soldered the two wires off. There is no code what so ever on the barrel I was told all you need is the code on the part to get a new key made having the code makes it far cheaper for a lock smith.
On my ignition all there is 3 letters and in another place 1 number and 2 letters. I have been told there is meant to be like 7 numbers/letters in a row.

My bike is a Honda CBR 125r 2004. Will I just bring the whole barral to the locksmith to get a mould made (is that how they do it lol) thanks appreciate it the help. Does my bike have a special security system ?

One other thing where could I get a gear shifter/linkage someone dropped the bike and its wrecked.

Ebay is your best bet to find rare things like this.
my recomendation would be to change the 'barrel' as you called it on both fork and gas tank. you can find them on ebay for a few bucks. or see if you can find a used one on here or somewhere else online.
trying to re-key a lock like this will cost you more. unless you are in a hurry to get it up and running then a lock smith can change the tumblers on both sets and your done.

as for the link, are you missing the rod or the entire assemb?
you can get a 6mm thred rod and a few 6mm bolts and replace it that way. if you want the whole thing then i would goto the dealer for that, or again online.

I thought the locksmith could just make me another key for the same lock ? I was told the ignition key is the same has the tank. I dnt have to replace anything.

Thank you and yes I need an entire assembly its rusted and wrecked ! thanks.

Yes, ignition key should be same as the gas tank & sear trunk. Unless the previous own change it....

Take the entire seat trunk key slot off and take it to locksmith...they can rekey it with few minutes...
