Default LED's...What Resistors???

OK, My boy is installing some LED's he got from radio shack...
(SPECS = Low 720 MCD intensity,Typical voltage: 2.1, maximum of 3.0V )
What size Resistors would be needed for this to work properly....the bike is a '06 1000rr if it matters...
any help would be appreciated...Thank you in advance...John

you're going to fry those LEDs the moment they touch power on the bike. 3v LEDs don't take too kindly to a 12v system. you're going to have to find a way to bring the voltage down. find a 3v lead and go with that, OR buy 12v LEDs.

Advanced Auto and PepBoys have LED that are prewired and 12V ready. Its a LOT easier and a lot less work!!!

I believe you can get away with an in line 10k ohm resistor in line to drop the voltage and I think you can run 5 ohm 20W resistors to ground to slow down the blinking. You probably won't find the second ones at Radio Shack, but you can look while you're there getting the first resistors. Most likely you will have need to go to a local electrical place or order them online.
