Default Just got an f2. Questions

I sold my f4i and got a f2. I have the stock sprockets (front/rear) from the f4i. Are they the same as the f2 or would throwing either of them on be any type of upgrade for me? This bike is a TURD compared to the f4i.
It also hesitates/sputters around 4k in every gear. Has fresh oil, new plugs, 08 zx-r voltage rectifier and a slip on exhaust.
I'm going to keep this for a short while and probably sell it, make a quick buck or two, but in the meantime I want to get it up and running properly.

I also heard a rubbing noise by my left foot, but nothing seems to be touching anything.
If anyone is local to me and wouldn't mind looking the bike over I would appreciate it and throw you a few bucks. I'm in the northwest burbs of Chicago.

Rubbing noise by left foot could be the chain slider being contacted by too loose of a chain.

The stutter around 4k sounds like your pilot jets might be a little off. Have the carbs cleaned or run through by someone that knows what they're doing - if that is you, then enjoy!

I'm new to this bike and kind of new to bikes in general. How do i check the chain slider or chain tension? Someone told me 1.5" of slack on the bottom of the chain. Someone else told me 3 finger gap at the top of the chain. So I'm not sure who to trust here.
I've never cleaned the carbs before, is it hard to do? I may try some seafoam or 105octane gas, maybe that will help clear it out.
