Jetting??????????

I have a 1995 600 F3. I have a Two Brothers Racing slip on pipe on the bike and a brand new K&N filter sitting in my room waiting to get put in.
The bike runs good now and has no hesitation. If I put the K&N filter in, how do I know whether or not I need to have my carbs jetted? If I decided I need to get the bike jetted after the increased air flow from the filter, is it easy to jet a bike yourself or is it worth having someone else do it?
Any insight.??????

It wouldn't hurt to jet the bike after a slip on and filter. I personally have a K&N with a V&H slip on with stock jets. It does run slightly lean but I don't think I will hurt anything before this winter rolls around. I plan on rejetting then when I won't care about the down time. If you put everything together and your bike starts making popping noises when you let off the throttle then you deff need to rejet it before you burn a valve. Hope this limited insight helps.
