ixon jacket
i was just given an ixon diablo motorcycle jacket from a mate. unfortunately the padding in the back and the pads in the arms are missing
is there anywhere i can get pads to fit or even universal ones that may. what sort would they have been, kevlar? nothing on ebay either btw.
thanks all.

So what you are missing are the inserts? Some inserts are Kevlar, others are just reinforced padding. On some sites they have Ixon with "Arron CE protectors", not Kevlar or they would have touted it as such. I'm not sure what model type or the age of your jacket.
But here is a place that I found that sells the jackets: Aussie Biker Shop|AirHawk seating|Rain Off overgloves|Rivco Accessories|Grip-Lock: Ixon Bike Gear.
So it may be worth getting touch, because you really need the inserts that suit your jacket, style & size.
Ixon also have their own web site, nearest place I could find was in New Zealand, pity you don't live in France or Italy, from the list they give for both countries, you can buy Ixon gear from the same shop you buy your ****, milk & newspaper.
There are universal ones around to, especially for exchanging Kevlar ones for the crappy ones that come with some of the jackets out there. A lot of bike shops have these, but its going to take a bit of rooting around.
