Default innova 3340 worthwhile?

right now I have a 3300 innova multimeter that I picked up for like ten dollars i've been using for a few months but I dont really trust its readings based on past results.. but thats a whole other story. The 3340 is a beast in comparison to the 3300 and its autoranging, which im not 100% confident with scaling things myself its just unnecessarily complicates. Other features the meter has it battery load test (f@$* you autozone).

Now I'll get to the point. the Innova 3340 also has a tach and dwell a temp sensor and many other features. The problem though is i've read a review that criticized the meters tach and/or dwell function.. Does anyone have experience using this meter? I need to tach function to adjust my carbs at idle.

I don't have any personal experience with that meter. I wouldn't give much thought to the Dwell since our bikes and most cars don't have points in them anymore. As for the tach function, I guess it depends on it's resolution and the rate at which it updates the digits. Low RPM and trying to watch a 50 RPM drop when the digits keep going up and down, it can be challenging.
