Injectors
Hi guys
Firstly I’d like to apologize for my other post regarding a knocking noise!
I’ve just had all my fairings off to trace the knocking and I’ve finally traced it to the injectors,I’ve read that they possibly tap,but mine are quite noticeably loud on warm up between 35-70ish. Can anyone confirm if this is normal please

I’m new to sportsbikes so am happy at any info/help 👍
i checked the cct for noise as that is the area I thought it’s coming from,but put my screwdriver on the injector stem closest to the cct and that’s where I’m hearing the tap/knocking?

Righty-ho , yes that noise you will hear through a test of that kind, nothing to worry about there , but if it disappear's when warm that isnt the injectors , was it the garage that did the valve clearances or previous owner

I don’t think the clearances have been done on it yet,is this a valve issue?
ive been trying to look on the internet,but most valve issues/noise seem to be at operating temp,I can’t hear mine once full temp and no noise etc at any rev range at all

Noises like this are common , when the bike gets to operating temp and the noise clears its because expansion has taken up the slack, if in doubt get someone to look at it, but dont be too concerned at present
