I incorrectly hooked my jumper cables to start my 07 600rr. Clock works but, nothing else. Gauge doesn't move, fan doesn't come on or anything. I got a new battery and still nothing. What could it be?

 

My guess would be you blew the main fuse. find your fuses and check them all.

I believe I checked all the fuses...unless there are some fuses that aren't visible or hidden. They were all good. What about the diodes? No clue how to check those.

 

when you say checked fuses, you checked which ones, located where?

I'm assuming your battery that required the jump-start now has been charged properly or replaced with a new one that has been properly initial-charged?

 

I checked all the fuses in the black box and I believe the 30 amp fuse in the front...I'll have to check and make sure that the 30 amp I checked isn't a spare. Yes, the battery is new and properly charged.

 

Well, the 30 amp was a spare...Now the nuetral symbol doesn't show anymore (which I don't need) but, I'll figure it out. If you have any idea what I need to do to fix the nuetral deal let me know but, for now thanks to all.

 

Just to make sure, there are 7 fuses + the main fuse. The seven are in the fuse box, main comes off the battery by starter relay.

 

this happened to me last week, dad hooked up cables on truck backwards and this being my first bike after i checked all the small fuses i flipped because i thought it fried the ECU (or whatever they are called in a bike)... but it was the main fuse...
