Default Inconsistant RPM

Hey guys and gals..... I have a '01 F4i with around 30,500 miles and just within that last month it has been doing something that it hasn't before..... I've noticed that when I'm in either 1st, 2nd, or 3rd gear and sometime 4th, the RPMs start bouncing around. It is really noticeable in 2nd gear around 25 mph. I'm keeping a consistant throttle and the RPMs start bouncing roughly 100-200 RPM up and down making the bike jerky. I have adjusted the chain, changed the spark plugs and air filter, and it's still doing this. Any ideas?? Could it be the fuel injectors? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

yeah mine is a little "pulsey" in second around that range, usually happens to me in close, slow moving highway traffic...i think it happens to me because of my sprocket change and the revs being higher...usually i just shift up to third and the jerkiness goes away....dunno

Kinda sound like a problem i had in my VW bug. It turned out to be loose wires in the distributor. SoIwould concentrate on the ignition or Throttle Sensor.
