Default I have know clue what is going on????

Ok so went out to get my bike started for the season. I go to start it up, and the starts sputtering and banging, and sounds like it is backfiring with every now and then small flames shoot out of exhaust. On top of this in a hose i think its a draining hose on the left side and it seems to be connected to the carbs. Is pouring out gas. Does anyone know what the heck is going on? As well as what I should do. It would be very much appreciated.

Just looked it up in manual and the gas is coming from carburetors breather tube in between the 1 and 2 carb.

What model? How did it work prior to sitting for the winter? Did you do any work on it right before it sat or during the winter?

Its a 94 600 f2. And before it sat in the winter it didn't have much gas in in. But for the past week I have been doing an oil change, changed the spark plugs, and trying to clean it. I bought it last year near the end of summer and it was decently just a little sludgy. But, I wanted to clean everything and put new parts in it for this season so that It would run really well.

Sounds like the usual fuel gumming problems that seem to affect nikes that sit around doing nothing for any length of time.
Take off carbs, drain float chambers, check float valves aren't sticking, blow everything through with compressed air and carb cleaner, reassemble, start her up and run some additive through the fuel system.
She should run as long as you're not pissing gas out of the carb breathers.
Just sounds like she needs a good run to get things moving again.
