Default How Much Do You Think This Will Cost?

When I got my bike it had been laid down on the left side. It scratched the stator cover, but I'm going to smooth that out and paint it, but it also messed up the upper fairing. The guy had sanded it down and sprayed primer on the rash and then put an A* sticker on it. My brother knows a guy that does paint work but do you think he would do a small job like this and how much do you think it would cost. I'm just looking for a ballpark figure, he would have to sand, mask, prime, match and mix the paint, and spray then wetsand. Heres the close up pics that I have.

If you have any idea, let me know. I have alos been thinking if its too much I could do it myself, but how would the color match up? Thanks in advance

you could find the paint code and do it yourself and it should match up.or i know you can get at least $200.out of that on ebay and if you look theres a seller on there selling factory plastic in factory colors for i think $330.00. so thats about an extra $130.00 for a perfect plastic and you will definetly spend about $100.00 to get it done somewhere else or about $60.00 to do it yourself. If it was me i would sell it and get a new one.

Called one body shop by me and they said that it would probably be $100-$150 to do that small spot. Thats rediculous (SP) I can get a can of colorite and do a decient job myself for about $40. I'll keep you guys posted on what I do, but I'm going to get it taken care of either way.

for that price, send it to empiregp.com and they will paint the whole thing over again...any color...but send the pix to www.empiregp.com and get a quote from them.

Thanks for the link tahoe, I have sent him a few emails and he said that it would be around $100-$150 too but hes going to fix the primed spot and I also found a small crack on the same side right above the turn signal. Then hes going to clear the whole cowl and put new stickers on. I haven't decided if I'm going to send it out or do it myself or if I'm even going to do it at all. I want to get it fixed but its not at the top of my list. I think I want to do a custom paint job next winter so I have to think about it for a while. Thanks again for the link, he seems really cool.
