Default How much do I lower the front??

HELP PLEASE?! I am a 5'1 female and I have a CBR600 RR. Everyone said not to buy it, but I absolutely love my bike! I am a new rider and I just lowered the rear 2 inches. I've tried the big shoes, but the bike was still high. And YES, i've felt a tremendous change in making turns. But that was the only choice that I had. I was just wondering, how low do drop the front being that I dropped the rear 2 inches? And are there any impacts if I do it? Thanks for you help!!

You would need to get the bike balanced and adjust to yoru height/weight. Since you lower the bake the bike will handle differently. I would take it to the shop and have them adjust it for you while you sit on it. Shouldn't be too much $$$$. if you ride as is it will change the geometry of the bike.

Congrats on the new addition...the 600 baby!!!!!

Having the front end higher than the rear end sounds dangerious.

nah, it'll just make the bike a pig to turn, like a cruiser... no, what's REALLY dangerous is jacking up the back of the bike and keeping the front stock or lower. that'll be a tank slappin' MACHINE!

It would seem to me like a lowered back would make it wheel prone.

Most of the weight it being directed to the back wheel making the front end light...

there's 350lbs on the front wheel. it's not going anywhere. lowering the rear increases the swingarm length increasing your wheel base, thus actually making it less prone to wheelie-ing.

the shorter a bike is, the easier it is to wheelie.

Just lower the forks and inch in the triple trees and go from there.
