Default How much do batteries cost?

First of all, can an auto store test motorcycle batteries, and if mine is indeed bad, how much does one cost? I just got the bike, and I talked to guy I bought it from, and he said the battery is about 3 years old, so I suppose if it isn't the battery, wouldn't hurt to replace it anyway. I was reading about issues with the charging system, hopefully that's not it. Thanks.

any auto store can test the battery. If they have one in stock is a diffrent story. I just bought mine and it ran me 130. There were a couple of choices and i went down the middle of the road.

they should be able to np. Cost will run $50 - $150. Cheaper ones dont last as long esp if they sit dormant awhile not hooked up to a battery tender.

Man, I'd hate to live where ever you do, the mark-up is killer!! You use the same battery as I do in my 954 (YZ10S), it's $125 - $150 around here if you go with Yuasa, $70 at Batteries Plus for off-brand.
