Default how easy to change out fuel lines?

this guy is selling a 00' f4i - but he says it needs replacement fuel lines to the carbs - how hard you think that will be to do and also the price tag? he is doing OBO, so i figure if it's a kind-of a b8tch project - i can low ball because alot of people will just walk away from it..

i already posted in f4i section, so dont tell me wrong section - no one answered me.. no circle jerking me around tonight - unless your 5'4 and double D's..

First is a F4 not a F4I. The fuel lines to the carbs should be super easy. Just buy new tubing the correct size and some zip ties or whatever similar.

actually it's a F4i - late 00's had fuel injected, it was still a 00 but a late model from what i researched.. (but i will see if it's true or not, the choke button would be a dead give away haha)

yeah havent checked out the bike yet - going tomorrow, just wanted to see if anyone had to replace this before. thank nauree

Ok...F4i's started in 2001. The 'i' stands for injected. And if it has a carb then im fairly sure that its not going to be an F4i.

Bikebandit.com sells aftermarket fuel lines for like $30. You'll need to buy some hose clamps which comes in packs for about $20. If its REALLY an F4, check the VIN sticker on the frame, and thats the only problem I'd pick up that bike in a heartbeat.

haha. Thats alot of hose for a bike.

There's two types of fuel rubber hose. Low psi (carb) and high psi (EFI)

Low psi will be just straight rubber hose like vacuum hose. High psi will have strands in it for strength. Heck, it make look like rubber brake hose. I cant remember.
