Default Honda CBR600f2 slight knock in engine.

I recently bought a 1994 Honda CBR600f2 with a rebuilt motor and carburetor. It originally had 30,400 miles on it. I finally got it started but it has a knock in the right side of the engine. I can't tell if it's the cam tensioner or the valves being out of adjustment. Is there an easy way to tell which one it is? I believe it's probably the CCT because to my understanding it's the original automatic one from 1994 that came on the bike. I just want to know what you guys think it could be.

Yeah - I think you called it right - sounds like you need a new CCT.

Hopefully whoever rebuilt this engine adjusted the valves correctly too.

Easy to check if you're working on it anyway...
