high rpm bog
Hey i just got a 99 CBR900RR and when i test drove it i really didn't get on it at all and it all seemed ok.. after buying it however lol i finally got on it and soon realized that when it try and get on it... it bog's down and has trouble climbing up. if i slowly get on the throttle it is ok. i took apart the carb and cleaned the jets and made sure there were no sediments in the bowl, then i removed the spark plugs they were a tanish color so i don't presume it's running rich (which at high rpms would prolly be ok anyway) my last thought is the valves... i've yet to do a compression test since.. well i don't have a compression tester =p
if anyone has any ideas of what could be the case, it would really be appreciated. thanks alot!

In my experience working on ATVs I have seen several similar issues as yours. After replacing the fuel pump the problem was cured. You might try to test the fuel pump and make sure it is in spec. Also make sure that your needle valves and seats were good in each carb
