I have a 99 F4 600, I purchased the DDM Tuning H4 Hi/Lo kit. I just wired it up and tried it right after and everything seemed to work except the High beam didnt come on when I hit the switch. But when I unplug the Hi/Lo wire and plug it back in it will go to the high beam and back to low if I do it again. What could be the problem? Is it the switch or wire? The wire isnt broken or anything I need some help.

 

Can you hear it clicking (The telescopic part) when you hit the hi/lo switch?

 

No it doesn't make the clicking sound when I hit the switch.

 

The problem is in your relay then,
Check the fuse in it?
My buddy had kind of the same problem with his R6 when installing them and he said it didn't work when he hooked the negative of the relay to the battery and then worked when he connected it to a ground bolt instead, (Don't know why) but you could give it a try and see?

Actually I went and tried it again and I can hear a faint click when I hit the switch and also sometimes the light flickers when I hit the switch.
