Red face Help with right Manual

Hi, can anybody help me? i have a 1998 CBR600. i am trying to find out if its a f, f2 or more? according to haynes i need the manual that starts 1998 but how do i find out what my bike is as my log book just says 599cc. is there a site i can enter my Vin no or Engine no that tells me exactly which varient i have, thanks folks!

1998 is a F3 model, +1 to regener8ed

95-98 are pretty much inter-changeable as far as the mechanical goes.
If you want to be sure, stick with the 97-98 for ordering parts.
The clymer and the haynes both cover all 4 years, simply noting changes
in the appendixes. Either, one will work. I actually have both + the service manual
to cross-reference against.

My Haynes covers F2-F3, 91-98 & the Manual number is 2070. Have seen plenty on 2nd hand ones on Ebay (Clymer & Haynes)
