Default Help re track day tires please

Hi, tomorrow I'm booked for my first track day - a novice only session and I've just noticed in the small print it says "no slick tires for novice sessions".
Yesterday, I had a Pirelli supercorsa sp put on the back wheel. Is the supercorsa sp considered a slick? It does have grooves and appears to be perfectly road legal, although it doesn't have very many grooves. Sorry about the noob question, just worried about being turned away because of something so daft. Thanks for any help!

No those are fine, have fun! And don't forget to bring a lot of water and a chair! Have you gone through your bike to make sure it'll pass tech inspection?

I've really gone to town cleaning, checking and generally fussing over the bike! lol.
I went down to the track yesterday to have it noise tested, it passed fine - despite being a stubby end can without a db killer bung in it.
I'll bring the db killer with me just in case. I just hope it won't rain now! Thank you

Good luck, I hope it doesn't rain either. I'm not sure I'd want to be out there on those supercorsa's!

Thanks, they don't appear to be designed for wet weather!

It is Cadwell park, Lincolnshire - UK. Not an easy circuit I'm told. But I did get both knees down, which I haven't managed to do since owning this bike, I'm pretty pleased with myself

The track is the place to touch knee! It amazes me that people try to do it on the street...

Cadwell park, you lucky son of a gun. Great track and you got to ride 'the mountain'. I nearly went to the BSB race there last year but couldn't face the crowds on the long weekend.
