There is a problem I believe it is the float bowl vent it will idle fine but when I take off down the road I can barely get 20mph and it it acts like it is starving for fuel, I noticed when I had it running with out the tank on earlier I could blow in to the float bowl vent hose and the idle would increase there for forcing fuel through the carbs. I was wondering if the float bowl vent as to have increased pressure the faster you go.

They call the valve with the electrical wires coming off of it (the one the float bowl vent tube was connected to) (that I removed), the direct air induction system valve...... Greek to me but I suppose I need to hook it back up.

I connected the valve back up and ran the hoses and put in the preair cleaner back in and it ran I don't know if it ran as good as before but it ran. At first it had a hesitation but that eventually went away. I will be able to tell you more, the more I ride it hopefully riding to work tomorrow if its not raining cause its only suppose to get up to 51 or so and in the wet would be a lil chilly.....

Why did you have it all apart to begin with? ...just out of curiosity.
