Default help needed with clocks

hi guys i have a 1998 cbr 900 it was in kph i got a set of clocks from ebay in mph when i fitted them they seem to b reading slow is the speedo pickup needing to get changed or maybe just dodgy clocks cheers kenny

Shouldn't need to change the pickup. All the conversion happens on the gauge.

How slow are they reading? you can get a Speedohealer that you can program to correct the error. I have one on my bike and I am now within 2 kph of actual speed.

they read rely slow when you hammer it they go to about 60-70 mph and i think i am going faster than that and when you driving in town the do between 15-20 mph and bike feels like about 40mph ish
