Default help in installing Yoshi slip on

I just got my 2012 CBR exactly a week ago. Today, my Yoshi slip on came in and I tried installing it. I spent almost 4 hours trying to install it but the mid pipes won't line up. In the end, I re-installed my oem muffler. I have installed slipons on all my four previous bikes, a Ducati Monster, BMW R1200S, Ducati 1098 and my last bike, a BMW K1300S. I also installed a Two Brothers slipon on my brother's 2008 CBR. So, I am not new to this. Anybody out there who installed Yoshi slipon on their own?

you seem to know what you are doing. So double check and make sure they sent you the correct one.

I tried installing the slipon as one piece. Do I have to separate it to three pieces and install them one at a time?

looking at the install guide, it looks just like the setup on my '08 -- i put mine on with the can and s-pipe all in one piece (although the sheet indicates otherwise.) keep the joints loose until everything is in place.

I got the slipon installed today but am not happy with the way the shield is installed. As it is, I only have the 2 bottom screws on. All the pictures I've seen of the triangular bracket that bolts to the frame, there is a triangular hole visible to the left of the fairing. When I mount that bracket on my bike, I can't see that triangular hole. As such, my bracket is too short and I can't put on the last screw.
