Default Help identify engine

ok im confused with the engine no.'s can someone tell me if these are the same engine and if parts like carbs and wiring loom are interchangable

nc23e-300747 my engine top end gone

nc23e-1020481 my used bare engine

your bare engine is an 88 and your engine with the top end gone is a 90-91

and as far as i can tell any wiring etc, should be the same. any information ive found hasnt said it differed except for frame differences. and a new swing arm design that is irrelevant to your needs.

thanks bud thats what i thought they look identical i was worried wether the carbs would fit or not

i dont know honestly. thy\ey have different Part codes. on is Carburettor Number - VG04A and the other is a Carburettor Number - VP01A.... Im not really familiar with the bikes in question, so hopefully some one else could chime in and help. Im just going by what i can find on the internets.
