Default Help/Ideas for license plate lights.

Recently was ticketed for improperly mounted license plate. When looking at the rear tire from the left side the plate is approx at 10 o'clock.

I think I have a spot where I can mount the plate underneath the rear fairing but, my issue is lighting. I doubt the old light will be able to be used in this new position.

Anyone have any advice for me? I could probably handle a small amount of wiring but, it would be a first for me on a motorcycle. Or if there is a temporary light source possibly battery operated I can use in the mean time?

Thanks in advance.

Default lights

You can go to any auto parts store and get the washer sprayers that have the led lights. There is some that are white lighting or any color that you want. They are on hole mounting and one or two wire hook up. That is on way if you don't like that one I have other ways. Let me know.

they make the screws with the lights built into the top that mount the plate.. Anything small l.e.d. you can mount on the bike will splice right into your current running light. Are they making you fix it and show them or did they give you a warning? Usually cops will use your plate for an excuse just to pull you over.. I have experienced that twice.. I usually shake my head and go on with my warning...

Yea I don't think I need to show him, the back of the ticket has a form about getting it checked out but, there is no information on where to go or who to call anywhere. Cop didn't say anything about getting it checked either, just said "It's in the computer now so if we pull you over next time we will know."

I am going to try and find those LED bolts mentioned above probably would look pretty slick.
