Help!! i dont know wtf
ok, i put some led around my bike and everything. well when i put everything (airbox, gas tank) back on i went to take her for a ride. it started up fine, but went i got movin it sputtered like it was out of gas kinda the jerk me forward and died. then when i tried starting it and it acted like i didnt have the clutch pulled. then i put it in nuteral and it started fine, so i reved it alittle and it reved fine, but when i put it in first it died. i did that a few more times then finally it when into first just fine but it started that sputtering again. so i tried to get it moving and it would keep dying. but would start and run fine in nuteral. i had to ride it back to the house barely pulling the clutch and giving it full gas, and it just sputtered and jerker at about 2mph. so what the ___? did i forget to put something on?
Make sure you didn't kink any fuel hoses and make sure the fuel valve is turned on all the way. Also make sure any breather hoses have been re-connected. It's possible you either pinched a line, it slipped off, or you forgot something. That's the simplest explanation.
Did you connect the LED's right to the battery or via a fuse? My buddy drained his battery because the LED's were connected directly to the batt. Seems like that may be the prob. You got enough juice in the battery toidle in N but not enough juice to transfer from N to 1st (that puts a big load on the battery to maintain idle till it transitions to the alternator). But if your still having to rev after 1st your battery may be shot.
ya it has plenty of juice to idle and rv just fine in N. but once i finally get it into 1st its not that i have to rev, its that i cant even do that. its like someting shuts of the fuel but worse. you know how it feels to run out of fuel, well this is like that but more aggressive. does that make sense???? im bad at this
im headed out now to check the hoses before it get 118 out.

Yup ran out of gas once...baaad feeling. I would absolutely check the fuel lines for kinks. Figured the easy thing to do is disconnect you LED's from the fuse or battery terminal and see if that fix's the problem. If not, then get in there and tear down again to see if the lines are the problem.
well i removed the seat and loked up in there. i could see all the lines and there wasn't anything from what i could tell. so i started it up and let it run for alittle bit in N. i even rev it up. it rev'd perfectly and idled perfect. but its like when i push the shift lever there something teling the engine to die once the green N light goes out. and if i have it in gear it wont even try to start.....
HOLLY SHIZNIT I GOT IT!!! i took everything everything apart and figured it was something in the wiring cause it was like something made it shut dont when it weninto gear. well the little green connector by the battery that i think was supposted to be for my kick stand sensor was unplugged. make sense right, go into gear and it shuts off if it thinks the kickstands down. well i plugged tin and now im going for a cruz
thanx for da help peoplez im out!!

Put it in N give it some good rev and hold it at about 3500+ rpm and try to take first. That would be a good load test on the battery to see if thats the culprit. What are you usingas your power sourcefor the LED's? Also check you kickstand switch. It just seems to me like you tapped the wrong wire. Report back.
