Default Help !! Bogging And RED LIGHT

I was riding wheelies last nite and when I went to gas it up and clutch...the bike bogged and the red light came on .... It almost killed me....AS I almost went over the bars!

Well I'm not an expert but if you had the bike up in a wheelie for too long the oil would not have been able to circulate and the "red" light is the oil light. If it is the oil light it means there is not the correct oil pressure in the engine. Either its overfilled or underfilled. That's my two cents. Hope it helps

I know a lot of the cbr have a pick up prob in the oil. If the bike is up for too long you will starve the motor for oil. you can fix the prob by changing the way the oil is picked up in the pan. make the oil pick up longer so it will get the back of the pan. I Had the prob on my 954. it is not a hard fix

I know....This was going to pick it up.....I was clutchin it and gassing it would almost DIE... I think its my POS scorpio ALARM, it has the disconnect on the fuel ... I have taken it off an no more problems....so far....

+1, whether is is an alarm or a PCIII, all the add on electronics sooner or later create more problems than they solve. I'd have an alarm, but not one that ever gets involved with fuel or power, I justget one to make some noise.
