I crashed my bike... Purchased a new "aftermarket" fiberglass faring.. So heres my problem.. The screw holes dont line up... well the bottom ones. . . does any1 have any ideas on how I can mount the Headlamp??? this is really getting too me. . . I dont want too half *** it but The farings already painted and what i Thought was ready to install back ontoo my bike. Please help?

My problem is being Fiberglass i tried too force the screws in the hole and broke the two bottom ones off... Anyone have any idea's??

This is a tough one. I had some issues with broken tabs before and that are a PITA. Basically you will either need to find someone who is good with rebuilding fiberglass or do it yourself. There are many kits for repairing fiberglass so you will need to find one with the resin and the fabric. Then you will need to rebuild the tab. My suggestion would be to totally fill in the whole that was previously there. This will allow you to redrill the hole where you need it.

Here is the kit that I used on my rebuild:


Fiberglass is fairly forgiving but can be a little wonky to work with. This is probally your only choice short of buying another fairing. And even then you will need to fill in the hole and redrill. Go slow, measure twice cut once and all that. Post up if you need any further help.
