i have a 2001 f4i that ran perfectly last week . I put it in the shed and went to pull it out the other day and noticed that the low beem headlight wasn't bright and the highs didn't work at all the filliment was fine all the fuses were good.So then I said ok f it ijust ride it anyway but then when I flicked the switch to run the FI light didn't come on now I'm getting worried, she cranked up though when I pushed the start button, but my high beem indicator was on and both turn indicator lights stayed on keeping in mind that my highs weren't working ,and now the displays are solid as itf the lights were on I pushed a direction and the bike cut off . Can someone please help me .

 

You might have a short somewhere or feedback from the regulator. It could be a fire hazard, you may not want to ride it until you fix it.

 

thanx you were right it was a short. I had to strip the whole bike, and come to find out some wires got pinched and burned glad i caught it in time.
