Default Heating and bending/straightening seat frame? (1993 CBR1000F)

Hi guys,

I have a 93 CBR1000F and the white seat frame plastic is a bit off, it doesn't fit neatly around the tank. Has anyone tried to heat and bend that plastic somehow? Any advice is welcome.

Thanx & Greetz,

Balle

I'm not aware of anyone doing it, but most plastic become malleable when heated. Just not sure how you'd heat it enough without damaging the seat cover. If you're going to remove the cover, then you might as well look for a used seat and swap the cover if replacement is in worse condition.
