Default Having problems on cbr600f 02 fuel injection

Hi, lately when I've been riding my bike ( cbr600f 2002) I've been loosing power when accelerating, the FI light comes on and I loose power. Sometimes it cut out all together but most the time it cuts back in. Would this be a problem with the fuel filter? Or the whole file injection pump? Any ideas?

My first thought would be to get the codes from the bike since the FI came one.

Having said that, those models have been known to have fuel pressure regulator issues. You can physically check the FPR by removing the vacuum line on it and see if there is gas in it. If gas is present, the FPR is bad.

has your fuel mileage been bad?
A little more description of the bikes past may help too. Such as mileage, ever been layed down, modifications....ect.

Reset ur ECU and give us the # of blinks. Sounds like u may have a bad MAP sensor or loose vacuum hose/s. That will cause ur ECU to tell the fuel pump to deliver a jacked up amount of fuel. Been there, done that.
