I guess the 'ol mesh bunjie tie down has now become passe' ?

I once rode home with a 15" computer monitor tied down on the back with one of those.

(I know, I just exposed myself as a dinosaur on 2 accounts. )

why not drink ichiban? first alcohol i had with sushi, and i am more slant eyed than my mother.

Yes putting glass inside your jacket kind of defeats the point of a leather jacket..

so what would you strap a mesh bungee to on an RR?

A friend of a friend had his mobile phone shoved so hard into his chest that it broke three ribs and ruptured his heart when he kept it in a chest pocket during a crash. The phone acted as hard focal point for the energy transfer during the crash, concentrating the damage to his heart and surrounding area.

I hope it was a joke, otherwise you are asking for some rather serious injuries. Simply Darwinian.

Sometime last year. I did not buy beers, just food. It did not fit in my itty bitty backpack. so I had to carry it on the bike

I dont even carry my wallet in the breast pocket, and dont consider pack packs safer either. ATGATTish thread in sig. I was trying to avoid the serous your going down posts, with the like a boss comment... yes i rode to the store sober and stuffed glass bottles in my jacket, and have ridden not sober on other occasions.
