Getting ready for spring.
Hello. This is my first "getting ready for spring" experience with my bike, as I bought it in the fall of last year.
What are usual things you guys do to prepare?
I winterized my bike by putting it in a heated parkage (20 degrees C) all winter, and removed the battery and did an oil change.
Would the battery need to be recharged if it was unplugged this whole time? Or would it have enough charge to start.
Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Does it still have the same fuel as it did last fall? If you didn't add stabilizer to the fuel tank it might not start or it will probably run rough until you can add fresh fuel.
Also, get something like a Battery Tender Junior for winter storage. You can leave the battery connected to it all winter long and it will maintain the correct charge level.

+1 Battery Tender & fuel stabilizer.
Some helpful tips;
inspect tires & adjust to proper pressure,
clean & lube chain - adjust for proper chain slack,
oil & filter change (you've done) - periodically check security of oil nut,
inspect air filter & replace as necessary,
inspect brake fluid(s) & replace as necessary,
inspect brake pads & rotors,
inspect hoses & fuel lines for cracks/leaks,
inspect radiator coolant - flush & replace as necessary,
inspect fork tubes for seal leaks,

+1 on the fuel.
I did not add any stabilizer (not sure where I could even get it here) and I have tried to start the bike several times this week -nothing. A putt here and a puff there but no chance to get it running. Gonna take it apart next weekend, replace gas, oils and plugs, charge the battery and try again. Have one of those smart-chargers so prolly gonna hook it up too.
A good list there gotcbr, but I have to ask how can one verify the condition of the brake fluid? I mean, I have NEVER changed it into any of my vehicles apart from adding more if I have to bleed the system...

Brake fluid should be mostly clear. Ie., visually verify that its not dark, milky, have debris, etc.
I did add stabilizer thankfully.
I have a few more questions:
inspect tires & adjust to proper pressure - How do you know what the proper pressure is? How can i tell if my tires need changing or not?

Proper pressure should be in your manual but its 37 psi in the front and 42 psi in the rear. The minimum tire tread is 1.6 mm front and 2.0 mm in the rear. You can use a small ruler or a caliper if you have one and stick it in the groove of the tread, take 5 - 6 measurements and average it.
