Default Gear indicator?

im looking into getting a digital gear indicator for my 98 f3. just wanting to know if anyone uses one, what did you use, and difficulty on the install?

Seriously, that's what I love a out these older bikes! No gear indicator, no gas meter....just you and the bike....I've heard you can install those after market ones off eBay but I doubt you really need it.

I love when someone is like "how do you know how much gas you have"?!? and I look at them like they're slow and say, "I look in the tank...."

its not something i really need
just wanted to know if anyone has them or if its even worth getting.
and as for gas, i just go by mileage, or shake the bike to hear how much is sloshing around

There are a number of digital gear indictors on the market, simple search for that will bring them up. They generally start somehere around $100 and up.
