Use the Trip meter for a gas gage, thats what I do, works perfect..
Its actually BETTER than a gas gauge, cause a gas gauge only tells you how much gas you have, not how many miles you have left..
Using your trip will tell you how many miles you have left.
I get 115 miles to a tank, just reset the trip when you get gas.

115 miles to a tank? wow I feel bad for ya man. You must have some really low gearing or something. I get around 150 to a tank on my f3.
