So after you have bled the system what is the point if applying pressure to the system overnight, is just to check for leaks?

Galfer says to put the system under pressure for 3 hrs before 1st ride. I'm not sure why, but I think I can follow those instructions.

You may want to tap the lines lightly with your finger/screwdriver to loosen up any little bubbles that cling to the walls of the new lines.

Good advice fish. Anyone have any pics showing how they routed their lines?

Could someone be so kind as to recommend a brand of vacuum bleeder?

Been loking around, Motion Pro seems to keep popping up. Think I'm finally going to install my SS lines this weekend. Been hesitant on doing it because I keep hearing the same thing - get a vacuum bleeder for new lines.

to fully appreciate a vacuum bleeder, you must do it old skook at least 2x before going with vacuum bleeder.

I used my Mity vac to put fluid in the lines. I also wouldn't have been able to diagnose a caliper issue without it. After I got fluid in the lines, I used my Motion Pro 1 way valve to get the air and bubbles out. I probably could have done it without using my Motion Pro, but I was more familiar with it and more comfortable with the results.
