Default Fuel additive questions

Anyone use fuel additives in their bike? What do you use? How do you use it? (ie how often? how much? so please don't reply with 'Pour it into your gas tank') Is it needed? Any info would be great, thanks.

dragonium25 - Check out this thread I started back a couple weeks ago. Sea Foam is really popular with car guys, just make sure you proportion it correctly for the bike. PM if you want to know a little more...

I will use Lucas Complete Fuel Treatment ever few tanks.

1.5 oz will treat 5 gals and since my F2 is around that, I just use a shotglass to measure.

Who knows if it actually helps? I track my gas mileage and rarely notice an change there. It is cheap enough and I figure it can't hurt.

Well normally we mix 93 and 113 octane fuel together and run it like that. Makes the bike really responsive.

I have been using pure acetone in my "88" CBR 1000 Hurricane since 1999..Runs smooth and mileage is great..My oil changes are less frequent due to the cleaner burning fuel..The acetone seems to up the octane at least 10%....Less is better!!!about 3/4 oz. per 5 gallons is real good for me!!!All bikes are different..Put a few drops in your lawnmower..for openers..are check out..the net for detailed info..refer: Goggle Acetone as fuel additive.....

How much do you mix in with your regular engine oil? Do you find any improvements? differences?
