Default FRAM air filters??

Hey Guys, AreFRAM air filters all they are cracked up to be? I've heard this is the place to start for basic upgrades and that they make a world of difference. On the other hand, I've heard people say to stick with stock because the FRAM let's too much junk in. Arguments either way??

Put a k&n in it, or stay stock.

You might as well take a foam cup, put a paper towel in it, and screw it into the oil filter spot and it will probably work better than a FRAM.
