Your best bet may be to re-remove the housing and make sure it is fully dried (let it sit, or use a hairdryer). Make sure all your contacts where the housing seals are completely clean using alcohol or some safe solvent. You can then apply a think bead of clear windshield silicon sealant around the whole edge where the sealing need to be done. If you get the silicon on well enough, it probably won't show. I haven't done this on a bike, but it solved the problem on my car, and I can't see how they'd be too different. I've also heard of people drilling very small holes at the bottom of their headlight housing to allow the moisture to escape, but all you'd be doing is letting dirt get in there too, so I wouldn't recommend that approach.

I did this in a car I had, and it did get dirty, but if I had then plugged/sealed the hole after a day or so of heating and cooling the air space, I think it would be OK. You may also get some canned air and purge the space with the air and then seal it up.
