Do you have a dead blow hammer?

Remove the puller and make sure there isn't anything obstructing the shaft. The primary gear should have come out with the clutch basket. You can tap (not pound) on the gear with the dead blow to help loosen it but I'm pretty sure it should have come out with basket.

[sm=oopssign.gif]Nevermind that last post. I'm retarded, working on the wrong side of the bike.
It looks like you have the puller on right. You need to keep the flywheel still with a band(I forget the correct name of the tool)and then loosen the flywheel by hitting the puller with the deadblow.
Sorry about that, it was thesherm talking. By the way when it does come out I think a little metal tab will follow it. Don't loose it will need to go back on shaft as a guide.

dont know how thats gonna work, I use a steering wheel puller. three bolts thread into the flywheel, and a center dowel pushees against the crank, pulls it right off. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...6-20/ref=nosim
