Default RE: Flapper mod?

there is a flap inside the air box that is computer controlled to restrict air delivery. the mod is rendering it useless either by unhooking the cables or pinning it down. i tucked mine under the intake snorkels for a temp to see what kind of gains i would get. the other half is to disable the htv valve on the exahust at a certain point. i have not done this yet

Default RE: Flapper mod?

left hadn side of the bike...
unplug the grey plug going in to the black vacume block

then un plug the vaccum line going to it and plug it up with a screw..

thats it

thats a flapper mod..

takes all of about 30 seconds to do

keeps the 'flapper' open all the time as opposed to being controled by the vaccum pressure generated by how fast you are going ..

bike will run a tad richer.. but its not a noticeable amount ...

and rich is always better than lean ..
