Having to worry about where to place your feet when you stop is one more concern you do not need. Driving a motorcycle (the smallest vehicle on the road) and a tractor trailer (the largest vehicle on the road) are very similar concepts suprisingly, and the less you need to worry about while driving the better.

For safety reasons, anytime you buy a bike you should be able to comfortably flat foot while holding the bike upright. Because there will be one of those times that you WILL drop the bike due to losing your balance. Note I said WILL not might, because there are only 2 types of riders. Those who HAVE dropped their bikes, and those who WILL drop their bikes.

Its your bike your decision, but I am certainly never going to buy a bike i cannot flat foot.

If I went with this recommendation, ANY sportbike will be banned from my life.
